Coventry's Maudslay Buses

The details of buses described in this section have been assembled mainly from information described by Denton and Groves [1,2], with other details extracted from Peter Gould [3]. Other information sources have also been used to verify specific details, chiefly T W Moore [4], A A Townsin [5] and Roger Bailey [6].

The first Maudslay buses were supplied immediately prior to the First World War and were withdrawn a few months later when the War Department requisitioned the chassis.
