AEC Regent III

This was the only post-war AEC bus supplied to Coventry Corporation. The body was the same as those supplied to London Transport as the "RT".  To the average passenger, the platform pole, with its cladding of white plastic tape was a key distinguishing feature.  Also, in the lower saloon, the bell was operated by a cord, rather than the normal ceiling bell pushes.  The light fittings were more basic than those of a Daimler CVA6.  It is seen here in Pool Meadow, after arriving from Brownshill Green.
